Hours: The hours of this role can vary as follows:
We offer Full Shift hours which are based on a 35 hour week with shifts covering 24 hours. Possible earnings of Full Shift. The Semi Shift hours are also based on a 35 hour week however these shifts exclude nights. We also offer this role on a Part Time basis and these hours are generally agreed in line with departmental needs.

You’ll be part of one of the most important departments in the business, customer service; making sure that our customers, who have broken down at the roadside, receive an efficient, polite and proactive response to their request for breakdown assistance.
You‘ll strive to provide the best possible customer service at all times and will always go that extra mile to ensure that their problem is dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Main Duties:
- To handle all incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner in line with the company’s standards.
- To provide a proactive response to assistance calls by advising client on minor technical queries and providing solutions.
- To ensure that the relevant Team Manager/Manager is informed of any service failure or potential problem.
- To ensure that benefits are applied in the cost effective manner within the terms of the customer’s policy.
- To ensure that accurate costs are given for all assistance files utilising available systems.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proven experience of providing quality customer service within a pressurised environment.
- Fast, accurate typing skills
- Good geographical knowledge
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicles
