Telephone InterviewsWe carry out telephone interviews for all our Customer Service positions in order for us to be able to assess your phone manner and ability to communicate well over the phone. We will contact you to arrange a suitable time to carry out this interview and it is important that you ensure that you are in a quiet environment during the call so that you are able to hear all the questions that you are asked and are not distracted during the interview. Telephone interviews generally last between 20 and 30 minutes during which time you will be asked a series of competency based questions which will focus on your relevant and previous experience, your understanding of the Company and the role you are applying for and the reasons why you feel you are suitable for this role. Following the telephone interview we will assess your answers and contact you promptly to let you know how you have done. If you are successful at this stage we will then invite you in to attend an Assessment Centre which will enable us to further test your abilities and relevant knowledge. |
Assessment CentresIt is likely that you will attend an Assessment Centre with other candidates who have applied for the same role as we may have more than one position vacant for that role and it is time efficient to see everybody together. The tasks that you will be expected to complete at an Assessment Centre will directly link to the role that you have applied for and will have been designed to fairly test each applicant on their skills, relevant knowledge and previous experience. Depending on the number of people attending on the day, an Assessment Centre can last up to 2 hours. As part of the recruitment process for our Customer Service positions, you will be required to take part in a telephone role-play which will be similar to the calls that you would be handling, were you to be successful in your application. Your performance will be scored directly following the Assessment Centre and we will contact you promptly to let you know how you got on. If you are successful following your Assessment Centre, you will then be invited in for an Interview which will be conducted by the department manager. |
InterviewsAll our interviews are competency based, following structured questions relating directly to the essential criteria required for the role. Our interviews are generally conducted by the department manager and he or she will be looking to find out about your relevant experience and abilities and will ask you for specific examples of situations in which you have demonstrated a specific ability which is relevant to the role. Following your interview, the department manager will assess your performance and will advise us as to the outcome accordingly. We will then contact you to advise as to whether or not you have been successful in your application and will be ready with any feedback on your performance, if required. |
Offer of EmploymentIf you are successful following your interview, we will contact you to make a verbal offer of employment and your Contract and Terms & Conditions of Employment will be sent out to you in due course. |
Employee Screening / ReferencingWe carry out screening on all our new employees and you will be advised of the information and documentation that you are required to provide upon commencement of employment, during the recruitment process. |
Starting your new jobOn your first day you will attend the Company Induction which has been designed to welcome you to Mondial, tell you all about us and our culture and how your role is important to the business. It is also an opportunity for us to show you what we expect from our employees and what we offer in return. |
