What if there is not a suitable job available for me at the moment?

If you do not see the job that you are looking for on our Vacancies page, you can still submit an application to us by either sending in your CV or a completed application form stating the role that you are looking for and your salary expectations.

We will then keep your application on file and should a role come up that we think would suit you, we will contact you to discuss the role further.

Please ensure that you have your contact details clearly on your application form or CV.

Do you accept speculative applications?

We do accept speculative applications, which will keep these on file and should a suitable vacancy arise we will contact you to discuss the role.

How quickly will I hear back about my application?

You will receive a response from us within 5 working days following receipt of your application.

Do I need to complete the application form in full before sending it to you?

Yes. We do require you to provide all the details requested on the application form so that we can fully assess your application.

How long will the application process take?

This will depend on the role that you are applying for.

If it is a role within our Customer Services you will initially be required to take part in a telephone role-play during which we will assess your phone manner and ask about any relevant previous experience.

If you score well in your telephone role-play you will then be invited to attend an Assessment Centre and we usually hold the Assessment Centre within a few days of the telephone role-play.

If you are successful following the Assessment Centre you will be invited in for a formal interview with the department manager.

Roles which are not based in our Customer Services do not follow this procedure and so the length of the recruitment process may vary.

Regardless of the role that you are applying for, if you are successful in the initial stages, you will be invited in for an interview and it can take anything from 3 days to a couple of weeks to organise all the interviews but we will advise you of the outcome of your interview as quickly as possible.

If I am successful following interview, what happens next?

We will contact you to let you know that we want to offer you the role and will obtain your verbal acceptance of the position.

Your Contract and Terms & Conditions of Employment will be forwarded to you within 5 working days and this will include some forms which you are also required to complete for our records.

What should I wear to an Interview or Assessment Centre?

Our Dress Code requires that all our employees are smartly dressed at all times in clothing that is conducive to a professional working environment and we would expect the same of any applicant attending an Interview or Assessment Centre.

What if I require some assistance during the recruitment process with accessibility or have a special requirement?

If you require special assistance during the recruitment process you can speak to any member of the recruitment team who will be happy to assist.

Do you carry out referencing as part of the recruitment process?

The referencing is carried out by an external company and they will obtain employment references for you for the last 5 years, including confirmation of your current and previous addresses and various other checks as required by the screening process.

If you have any queries about the screening you can discuss this with a member of our Recruitment Team.
